Our client was founded in the early 2000s and is based on the north side of Houston. Consideration will be given to the right candidates outside of the Houston area.


  • Prospect leads and cold call to build pipeline
  • Manage prospected accounts
  • Negotiate pricing and services with customers
  • Develop and execute a sales plan that will achieve corporate revenue goals
  • Work closely with the operational staff to ensure customers’ needs and expectations are met
  • Meet or exceed sales quota as defined by the company


  • Portable Book of business ($1MM+)
  • Experience selling Truckload/Flatbed/Van Freight
  • Sales experience in a non-asset based environment
  • Strong long-term relationship building skills and ability to multi-task
  • Proven track record of generating profitable revenue
  • Adaptable, entrepreneurial, competitive and confident
  • Ability to think and respond quickly to sales & service issues
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to handle negotiations
  • In-depth knowledge of the company’s product and services
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
